Renewable energy and ecological management: a theoretical review

Renewable energies and ecological management are complementary issues that lead us to think about the current problem: climate change and its unstoppable increase in negative consequences with severe impacts on human and natural systems. This article aims to include the concept of clean energy in companies, which is essential to instill an ecological attitude and awareness in society and consequently conceive a structural change in public and private organizations. Through the documentary review of scientific articles in the Scopus repository, those between quartiles 1 and 2 are selected and provide novel information on the new regulations focused on renewable energies promoted by governments according to geographic location. The results establish structures that modern nations have taken regarding newfangled ecological management associated with renewable sources. Also, the strategies that best stand out concerning renewable energies when implemented with correct ecological management, result in significant advances such as economic, environmental, and social bonanzas.
